Blip Blarp: An Alien Love Story
She is Blip Blarp of the planet Zoron in the Fifth Galaxy in Universe CC9FR, pure cyborg hybrid, half organic and half robotic, descending to Earth on a mission which she must achieve without assistance but which will require cooperation of the native species, needing to find a man with whom she will procreate, one thousand babies who will then each have a further thousand.
Part human and part Zoronian, taking over the planet, the problem is men; consulting Aurora, her interactive database, Blip Blarp tries to learn of mating rituals, of dating, of speed dating, of cheese and wine events, but with potential conquering partners cancelling or ghosting her leaving only Jeff who she manages to poison on their only date, not realising humanoid metabolism cannot handle Sliruma of Pulpa, is she destined to be single and fail in her mission?
A half-woman, half-robot show described as comedy science fiction burlesque created by Alicia D Queen in neon catsuits, sequins and glittering capes, emphasising the flexibly curved spatial dynamics of her body and the intricacies of the extra-terrestrial mating rituals she has brought to Earth, Blip Blarp: An Alien Love Story is unusual and unique, musical performance art against a backdrop of cosmic disco beats and the glowing neon world of Zoron which she misses.
Striking and dramatic, perhaps intimidating in her forthright interactions with humans, men often preferring someone more docile and malleable, is her honesty about her intentions her downfall with Jeff, an inherently incompatible companion? Is she a protostar, shining bright but alone in the sky? Unwilling to let a mere human male diminish her nebula cloud, compromise is possible between the two species, but only through communication and understanding.
