Crazy For You

Crazy For You poster

She is beautiful, almost glowing, and he is nervous, Charlie’s car parked momentarily when fate strikes and he glimpses Jessica through the shop window and realises in that second that he could love her and that if she loved him it could genuinely change his complicated life for the better.

A serial killer with a very specific trigger who even at that moment had a bleeding body in the back, Charlie’s difficult childhood may have left a scar but that doesn’t stop him from being an optimistic romantic, though perhaps it might have been wise for the first date to have avoided proximity to a sharp steak knife…

Crazy For You; Charlie (Arthur Darvill) deals with another body in the only way he knows how.

Written and directed by Blood Shed’s James Moran and starring Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill and The Midwich Cuckoo’s Hannah Tointon as Charlie and Jessica, Crazy for You is a short comedy of overcoming differences and supporting each other through the problems which plague any young couple even when they’re not having to cover up murder.

Getting straight to the point, both leads are fun, fresh and flirty, Charlie convinced he can change and Jessica willing to work with him if he’ll get help, but sacrifices are needed to make a relationship work though with the aid of the fantastic production design which sets the scene the couple have a hope of making it through the required ten minutes.

Crazy For You will be streaming on the Arrow platform from Friday 8th November

Crazy For You; Charlie (Arthur Darvill) gets a surprise when he tries to tell Jessica (Hannah Tointon) how he feels.
